About the Program
The Middle Creek High School Men’s Lacrosse program has established a high standard of excellence on the field and in the classroom. We ask our players to be leaders within the community, and represent the Mustangs athletic program in a professional manner. Any student-athlete attending Middle Creek is welcome to tryout for the program, new and experienced players are welcome. Incoming student-athletes, or those interested in playing should complete the player interest form below.

New and Experienced Student-Athletes interested in playing lacrosse at Middle Creek High School should complete the player interest form to ensure you are receiving important program information. We will send out information through email regarding pre-season workouts, important player eligibility information, and tryout information.
Conference and State Championships
2017 State Champions
The Middle Creek Mustangs captured the schools first state championship in lacrosse in 2017, with a dominant campaign going 22-0 completing a perfect season. The winning streak would continue for another 21 games setting a state record 43 straight wins.
2022 State Champions
The Mustangs made their way back to the state championship in 2022, lead by a strong senior class. A dramatic last second goal capped off a tremendous season, giving Middle Creek the 9-8 win over Weddington in the 4A championship game.
Conference Champions
The Middle Creek program plays in one of the toughest conferences in the state, often referred to as the “SWAC.” The Mustangs have won conference championships in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022. The team has lost only one conference game since the start of 2017.
